London Street Photography

I went to London Street Photography exhibision at museum of London. It was first time to visit there, the building had unique landscape and modern style. The exhibiton was quite popular as waiting 20 minutes to get in. The photographs were categorised five periods.
1860-1889 The origins of street photography in London.
The horse-and-buggys were filmed on a busy street, they looked like traffic jam.
1890-1929 The metropolis in motion.
The first hand-held multi shot cameras were invented during the period.
1930-1945 Observing the street.
Camera techmology had matured to allow photographs to be taken almost anywhere.
1946-1979 Capturing the street
Social & cultural changes after the 2nd worldwide war provided a new impetus for street photography.
It can be seen the youth street culture scenes from photographs.
1980-2010 Reclaiming the street.
The photography sifted more artistic images.
It was clear to learn the history of streets as well as the history of camera works and the trends.
